Ears On The Move ("we", "us") is run by Debby Sandow, ENT Nurse, from 21 Springlea Heights, Atawhai, Nelson. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why, and what you can do about it. We follow the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
We collect what you put in the form: your name, your email address or phone number, the type of enquiry, and your message. Please keep health details for your appointment rather than the form: Debby will go through your history with you in person.
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how people use the website so we can improve it. Clarity records how visitors move around pages, including clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, and creates session recordings and heatmaps. It uses cookies and collects device and browser information and an approximate location. Microsoft processes this data under its own privacy statement at privacy.microsoft.com.
We also use Ahrefs Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It is designed to be privacy-friendly and doesn't use cookies. Ahrefs processes this data under its own privacy policy at ahrefs.com.
Our web server and Cloudflare, which protects and speeds up the site, keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and pages requested) to keep the site secure and running.
We don't sell your information, and we don't add you to a mailing list.
Only the services needed to run the website: the email service that delivers your enquiry to Debby, our website host and Cloudflare, and Microsoft Clarity and Ahrefs for site analytics. Some of these services may store information outside New Zealand. We don't share your details with anyone else unless the law requires it.
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to arrange and follow up your appointment, and to meet our legal obligations.
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it. Email sandow.debby@gmail.com or call 027 442 7040. If you're not happy with how we have handled your information, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
